Liver Packing Wrap

1. Fill the hot water bottle with hot (not boiling) water to two thirds capacity. The temperature should feel pleasant to you.
2. Expel the air before closing the hot water bottle, and wrap the bottle with a dry towel.
3. Soak one of the two herbal bags in a bowl with warm water. For hay allergy sufferers: as a replacement for the herbal bags, dampen a portion of the towel and place it under the hot water bottle.
4. Place the damp herbal bags / moistened towel directly onto your skin below your right rib cage, on top of the liver.
5. Place the filled, wrapped hot water bottle on top of the herbal bags.
6. Lie down on your back, get comfortable and cover yourself with a blanket.
7. Rest like this in a relaxed position for 20 to 30 minutes.

As preparation for the VIVAMAYR Cure and during therapy itself, we apply the warm liver packing wrap in the rest period before lunch and in the evening to help you fall asleep. These are the ideal times of day for supporting the detoxifi cation of the liver. Of course you may also apply our liver packing wrap outside of your VIVAMAYR treatment course in order to stimulate the metabolic function of the liver. It also helps pro-mote sleep in the evenings.
Especially important: Please make sure that your feet are also kept warm when resting with the liver packing wrap. If red patches form on the skin below the liver packing wrap and are still visible some time aft er the application, the temperature was too high. This should be avoided the next time.

Contraindications: Refrain from using the liver packing wrap during menstruation, since it can increase the flow of blood. If you experience certain inflammations of the gastrointestinal tract, or if you are pregnant, the liver packing wrap should be applied to a limited extent only. Please consult your doctor. We recommend that you do not use the liver packing wrap if you fi nd it to be uncomfortable. Hay allergy suff erers should discard the hay sachet and place a damp towel beneath the fi lled hot water bottle instead.
